Founder and Trustee at Shrusti Foundation, I hold a degree in Psychology from Jyoti Nivas College, Bangalore University. With a professional background spanning 14 years across various organizations, I ultimately dedicated myself to supporting those in need, particularly those earning minimum wages or facing zero income challenges. My commitment led to a transformative initiative, focusing on uplifting individuals below the poverty line through skill development training, women empowerment, rural development, and initiatives addressing essentials like clean drinking water and eradicating hunger.

Having successfully conducted over 2000 women empowerment training sessions in areas such as beautician, Tailoring and hand embroidery, self-defense, financial literacy, 2-wheeler training, and fostering self employment, we have created employment opportunities for the target demographic, including widows, divorced individuals, those left out of the education system, housewives, and the unemployed.

Additionally, we organized health camps benefiting 2300 people, offering medical services like blood pressure and sugar checks, ECGs, eye tests, dental check-ups, and Ayurvedic support for immunity. During the challenging times of the Covid-19 pandemic, our efforts extended to distributing 1,80,000 food packets, 2,00,000 masks, and providing ration kits to over 600 families, specifically targeting daily wage workers.

Our commitment also extends to educational initiatives, with infrastructure development projects in 33 Government schools, ensuring basic necessities such as benches, boards, books, play materials, computers, wall paintings, drinking water facilities, and toilet reconstruction.

In total, Shrusti Foundation has positively impacted over 28,900 lives, exemplifying our dedication to empowering individuals and communities.
